What is the HMA? What do we do?

The mission of the Hopkinton Music Association is to promote, support, and advocate for exceptional music education for all students in the Hopkinton Public Schools.

Through the support of individuals, families, and businesses who make donations of time and materials, this volunteer organization is dedicated to supporting outstanding quality music instruction and programs for all Hopkinton Public School students.

The HMA executive board directs all volunteer jobs that support our music programs.

The HMA—– Behind the Scenes

• Scholarships for college bound graduating seniors

• Lesson Scholarships for music students.

• Formal performance attire for High School Band, Chorus,

and Orchestra groups.

• Jackets for the High School Pep Band, Chorus and Orchestra.

• High School Music Festival funding.

• Buses for the 8th grade trip to an educational musical performance.

• Volunteer support for school concerts and MICCA festivals.
